Weekly Wishes

My last weekly wish was to eat 10 salads for meals that week. BOOM! I did that! I had to get creative though: spinach, romaine, kale, heck I even had zucchini salad! They were delicious and I felt so good about myself eating all healthy… whhhaaaat! Oh but I did have some pasta… oh well!

This week my wish is to get in bed before midnight! I know some of you are saying ‘Midnight?!?! That is super late!” But in all serious when I am usually up until 2AM this is early! 
So let’s do this! Midnight it is! I’ve realized more and more that while I might be able to technically function on less than 5 hours of sleep I do not function well. Sleep is so incredibly important. There is a new TED talk on the left sidebar all about sleep! I love it!

    My wish for the week is to edit photos of my husband and I to send to print. Oh and I also understand what you mean about getting in bed by midnight. I am notorious for staying up past a reasonable adult bedtime and it’s taking a toll on my looks lol. I need beauty sleep! I hope it works out for you this week.

    Hi! I love your weekly wishes – last week and this! I might well steal your last week’s wish if I get through my first week to week #2 next week! I love the sound of zucchini salad! (though of course we brits say courgette 😉

    Totally share your thoughts on sleeping – i’m a night owl too and can easily get to 1 or 2 am without noticing. Maybe I should be catching up on my beauty sleep too I think!

    These are good wishes–10 salads a week is a great goal, and getting sleep is definitely important. HAHA I like 7-8 hours of sleep.

    I would love to get to sleep before midnight. Some nights I have managed but only when I’ve left all electrical items on the other side of my room and I’ve taken some ‘sleep easy’ tablets.

    I’ve taken melatonin before and it works great but I must have 8 hrs or I get super difficult to wake up! And good call on the electronics!

    Lix 2AM is my usual bedtime but then I pass out for a nap in the afternoon! Midnight is proving difficult!
