res·o·lute: adj, very determined

Everyone is making New Year’s Resolutions. My resolutions tended to be things I wanted to accomplish that year but ever since I started making my Birthday Bucket List I have been thinking of changing my New Year’s Resolutions to more of grand ideas that can’t be quantified or checked off at some point. Some might say that’s cheating but seriously, I’m checking off 25 things this year I think I can cut myself a break… right?

Here are the Duchess’ resolutions:
-wear more heels
-eat balanced meals
-use time wisely
-sweat more
-more biking less driving
How do you come up with your resolutions? Do you sit down and come up with them fast? Do you hunt around on the internet or pinterest for good ideas? Do you even make resolutions? What are your resolutions?

These are good! I like the more biking less driving one. When I lived within biking distance of work, I really enjoyed it.

I so wish I lived in an area that made biking easier! Since I don’t however, I’ve joined my local YMCA and having been going to do cardio work at least 3 times a week and will start swimming next week which I am so excited about. I used to swim all the time as young girl and miss the water- I also miss feeling as healthy as I did then! That’s pretty much my one and only resolution- to be more healthy. Everything else is just kind of open to me at the moment, as a fresh college Grad and all! xx

I’ve been thinking of getting out there to bike more often. Slight problem is that my bike is from the 50s and doesn’t have springs… so it’s rather paiiiiinful.
