Presently Speaking

Feeling: Stupid. I found out this week that I trust people entirely too much in my job. I need to be more questioning and I thought I already was cynical enough. Well lesson learned. I guess I just need to keep that cynicism focused in on work and not let it creep into my personal life.

Reading: The Divorce Papers for The Duchess’ Book Club! Come join us!

Listening to: ‘Jungle’ by Jamie N Commons. It’s on repeat in my car with the windows rolled down… such perfection

Thankful for: Having Winston and Poppy back in Dallas with me! My apartment has been so quiet without those two fury furies running around!

Thinking about: How cluttered my desk is, I see all these pictures of people with pristine desks and mine looks like a hurricane of paper came by. People say a clear desk means a clear mind well I’m going to call BS on that. A cluttered desk means I’m actually doing something.

Eating:  My Fit Foods! My favorite is the Good Morning Sunshine! YUMMY

Watching: Game of Thrones! I needed to finish the third season before the fourth season starts! Anyone else want to see more of the Stark men without their shirts? Yep me too

Loving: DogTv! I signed up for this awesome program and now when I leave for school Winston gets to watch tv. I come home to him sitting in front of the tv and laying on the couch with his eyes glued to the tv!

Looking forward to: Seeing the Dallas Opera with my mom tonight! So excited!

What’s up with you?

I have no idea how people have clean desks either, like they don’t work!!! And that is disappointing about your work problems, hope it gets better somehow!

I feel the same way about desks, especially perfectly styled ones. It makes me wonder if they actually do anything, and how they have time to style a desk. :)

I definitely would have gone with you! I love geeking out over ruins and the history behind them.

I would have gone with you! And I definitely would have went alone just like you did! Good for you for not letting them ruin (no pun intended!) your fun! History and ruins are one of my favorite parts of travel.
