Move it and Lose it: 2014

I had this realization that in a few months I’m going to be 26 and that means a couple things: 
1) it’s my golden birthday 
2) I will officially be closer to 30 than 20 ( I had to grab a paper bag and breathe here)
3) my 10 year high school reunion is in 3 years and I don’t want to be the girl that my classmates ask “oh so you decided to focus on your career and not your health” (I know exactly who would say this too…)
4) I will be going off my dad’s health insurance and have no idea what health insurance I’m going to be on, oh my god, I’m going to get sick and it’s going to be hella expensive, oh crap this is not good, what if I break something because I’m not healthy enough, what if I get hurt training for the Hunger games because I’m too large to dodge the arrows and I can’t get surgery because I don’t have insurance… 
and it went on for about another 5 minutes… 
So I need to get healthy. Not just fit but healthy. Not just oh-I-can-run-for-more-than-100-yards but I-feel-good-inside-and-also-run. 

So that why this summer every Thursday we’re going to be discussing workouts, eating, failing, getting back on track, and moving it and losing it. 
So check back next Thursday because you’re going to get my thoughts on running. They’re some good ones… obviously.
